Rehabilitation

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy services are provided in the Physical Medicine Department and on an outpatient basis at Total Therapy Services. Licensed occupational therapists work with patients to evaluate their levels of functioning, and then they prepare and implement treatment plans for them.

Training and therapy include wound care, hydrotherapy, training in activities of daily life, cognitive re-education, electrical stimulation, fluid therapy, JOBST pump and measurements, joint mobilization, neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic activities and exercises, upper extremity prosthetic training, and patient and family education.
