Rehabilitation

The Regional Physical Rehabilitation Center, located on the fourth floor of St. Patrick Hospital, is a comprehensive physical and cognitive rehabilitation program designed to help individuals who have experienced a disabling injury or illness.

Rehabilitation can prove beneficial for patients with a wide range of diagnoses, including stroke (CVA), congenital deformities, major multiple trauma, brain injuries, amputation, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic conditions and various degenerative neurological disorders, such as multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy and Parkinson's disease.

The goal of the Rehabilitation Center is to ensure an optimum level of recovery in a cost-effective way for each patient. To achieve that, the center's doctors and professional staff work together to focus on improving the function of each patient and helping them reach their full potential.
