Radiation Oncology

The Regional Cancer Center is an open, accessible environment for inpatients and outpatients undergoing radiation therapy. Under the consultation of a radiation oncologist, treatment is provided by a team of board certified and licensed dosimetrists, radiation therapists, oncology nurses, and a Ph.D. physicist.

The addition of Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT) offers patients with prostate, spine, and head and neck cancer, a more focused treatment that provides a reduction in side effects.
