Diagnostics

The cardiovascular services available through CHRISTUS St. Patrick Hospital include a wide range of diagnostic procedures designed to identify specific problems with the heart and circulatory system. Many of these procedures are noninvasive and can be done on an outpatient basis. Noninvasive tests include:

• Electrocardiogram (EKG).
  
• Electroencephalogram (EEG).
  
• Echocardiogram (ultrasound).
  
• Stress echocardiogram.
  
• Arterial studies.
  
• Nuclear stress testing.
